about

This album collects compositions produced for theatre, sound installation, live performance, and my own edification. It is a document in two senses. It is a record of work shared heretofore only in the impermanent present of a performance or installation, but it is also woven through with traces of daily life: it is comprised of field recordings; moments of intense observation; intricate and idiosyncratic timbres; unique aural foci; found sound; intertextual layers; and post-internet referential density. It also evidences intense and productive collaborative friendships. My ideal is that this music is lived with by others as it has been lived with by its author.

Photography by Gaëlle Legrand.
Album art by Cale Weir.
